Prints & Cards FAQs |
How much do photo prints and/or note cards cost? They range from $5.95 to $19.95, depending upon their size. Our price list is here. [back] What size are the prints and/or note cards? Prints are available in standard sizes of 6"x4", 5"x7", 8"x10", and 11"x14" (learn more here). Note cards are 5"x7" (learn more here). [back] You'll see a small order form directly beneath each full-sized photo in the Prints & Cards area of the website. Just click the ADD button next to the size and type of print you'd like. If you want multiples in a certain size/finish of any given photo, you can change that on the next page by typing the number you want over the 1 in the QUANTITY field, then clicking the RECALCULATE button near the bottom of the cart page. [back] You'll see a small order form directly beneath each full-sized photo in the Prints & Cards area of the website. Just click the ADD button to the right of the Note Card option. If you want multiples of the same note card, you can change that on the next page by typing the number you want over the 1 in the QUANTITY field, then clicking the RECALCULATE button near the bottom of the cart page. [back] What if there's no order form?!? Photos outside the Prints & Cards area of the website don't have order forms. However, most of them can be printed at our standard sizes and prices. If you're interested in purchasing a photo for which there's no order form, please contact us with the name of the photo. We'll let you know what sizes it can be printed at. [back] Why not just put an order form with every photo? That's a great idea, and we'd love to do it. However, we're a very small operation, and honestly just don't have the resources (i.e., time or money) to do so. [back] Most likely the aspect ratio of the size you want isn't well-suited to that particular photo. Aspect ratio means the ratio of the photo's long side to its short side. So while an 8x10 print is pretty close to actually being square (it has a 5:4 aspect ratio), a 6x4 makes a fairly long rectangle (with a 3:2 ratio). If you still think we've made a mistake, or if you want to try a certain size anyway, please feel free to contact us. [back] What's the difference between the glossy and luster finishes you offer on prints? A glossy finish is very shiny and reflective -- probably what you're used to seeing when you get your own photos printed. Although a luster finish is shiny as well, it isn't nearly as reflective as a glossy finish is; luster is ideal if you plan to frame the photo under glass. [back] No, but there is a NewMexicoPhotos.com label on the back of each print (learn more about photo prints). [back] No. The cards don't have anything written on the photo itself. However, each card has a pencilled signature and copyright date underneath the photo, and a NewMexicoPhotos.com label on the back (learn more about note cards). [back] How can I get in touch with you folks? Please feel free to contact us with questions, comments, and suggestions at any time. (Because email is a notoriously insecure form of communication, please do not include charge card numbers in your message.) [back] Really, email is the best way to reach us. [back] |
